top-five-trends-for-the-fall-2017-style-doctors-fashion-stylists-new-york.jpgFall is officially here which means one thing; it’s time for a closet update! It may still be fairly mild ball know that winter in London and New York requires layers and more layers. To make things a little easier, we’ve put together a list of our top five trends for the Fall so you can start thinking ahead.

Red To Toe

If there’s one hue that screams Fall 17, it’s red. Worn boldly via each many catwalk looks, this is one colourful idea that actually suits everyone. Once you’ve found a red that suits you, this is a standout look that can be worn by all ages. The obvious bonus of wearing head to toe one colour is that it helps elongate the body making you look longer and leaner. Not quite ready for H2T red that’s head to toe)? Pair up an otherwise all red outfit with a pair of jeans.

Midi skirt and oversized sweater

It’s a tried-and-tested combination for the past three seasons, so we’re thankful to the design houses of these leading brands for confirming that there’s still plenty of mileage to be had in a midi skirt and a chunky sweater look. We’re not saying that this is a look for everyone and if you’re on the petite side, we recommend going for a shorter sweater to balance out the top and bottom half of the body. Curvier women should chose a top in a v neck and fits at the waist rather than a sweater than a shapeless sweater. All heights and shapes benefit from a heel with this look whether it be a block heel boot or over the knee boots.
